Rachel and Ari’s were married on August 24, 2024, at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in York, PA, and it was such a blast!

I was especially thrilled to photograph Rachel’s wedding because I’ve known her since her senior portraits. Seeing her as a bride was like catching up with an old friend, and it made the day even more special for me.

Ari’s Greek heritage made their ceremony really unique. Greek Orthodox weddings are always full of beautiful traditions and meaningful moments. One of my favorites was Rachel’s first look with her dad—it was such a sweet and emotional moment!

Rachel chose light blue floor-length gowns for her bridesmaids, which were perfect for a late summer wedding. Her own dress from Lila’s Bridal Boutique in York was a total showstopper—so sparkly and elegant!

After the ceremony, we had the classic Greek Orthodox tradition where guests throw rice at the newlyweds. It’s such a fun way to celebrate their new beginning together!

The reception was where the real party started. There was tons of Greek dancing, lots of laughter, and a wedding cake with a cute little replica of their dog on top. The whole evening was filled with joy and good vibes.
