Reyna & Chuck’s Dark Academia Wedding at the Silk Mill

Reyna and Chuck’s wedding on October 12, 2024, at the stunning Silk Mill on Main in New Holland, PA, was such a treat to capture! Their theme was dark academia, and they absolutely nailed it, from the decor to the color scheme.

Reyna’s bridesmaids wore elegant burgundy floor-length gowns, and the bouquets were bursting with color and texture thanks to her amazing florist. Chuck matched the vibe perfectly with a dark green tuxedo that tied everything together.

We started the day with portraits at a nearby park before heading back to the Silk Mill for the ceremony. The ceremony was beautifully conducted in both Spanish and English by one of Reyna’s family members, adding such a heartfelt, personal touch. Watching Reyna’s mother walk her down the aisle with pure joy on her face was one of the sweetest moments of the day.

The reception was filled with dark academia-inspired details that kept the vibe going strong. Instead of a traditional guestbook, they had guests sign records—a super unique touch! They even displayed a few of their engagement portraits around the venue, which I loved seeing.

To top it all off, they had a coffee barista at the reception (such a win!), and the dance floor was buzzing all night. We wrapped up with some late-night portraits of Reyna and Chuck with Chuck’s Skyline, which was a perfect end to their amazing day.
