Taylor & Michael’s Wedding Reception at The Lodge at Liberty Forge | July 26, 2025

Taylor and Michael celebrated their wedding reception on July 26, 2025, at the beautiful Lodge at Liberty Forge in Mechanicsburg, PA. This venue is always a favorite of mine, with its mix of rustic charm and elegant spaces—it was the perfect backdrop for their summer celebration.

We had planned to capture portraits before guests began to arrive, but as luck would have it, a quick rain shower rolled through just as I pulled in. The rain passed quickly, but not before adding a wave of summer humidity! We made the best of it by starting with a few portraits indoors, and once the skies cleared, we headed outside for more. The light after the storm gave us such a pretty glow, making those outdoor portraits absolutely worth the wait.

Taylor’s bouquet was a showstopper, filled with vibrant summer colors that tied in beautifully with the season. From the moment guests arrived, the reception space looked stunning—filled with love, laughter, and the happy energy that comes when two families come together to celebrate.

Dinner was preceded by heartfelt toasts, including a touching speech from Taylor’s father that had everyone smiling (and maybe a little teary-eyed). Their first dance was extra magical thanks to their DJ, who brought out a fog machine that made it look like they were dancing on a cloud. It was such a unique touch and made for unforgettable photos!
