Jennifer and Matt were married on September 25, 2025, at the beautiful Battlefield Bed & Breakfast in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It was the perfect early fall day for a romantic celebration surrounded by family and friends.

The couple kept things intimate with a small bridal party made up of family, the bride’s best friend, and the bride’s sons. The groom and groomsmen wore classic navy blue suits paired with accents of red and burnt orange — the perfect nod to the season.

Their ceremony was planned for the outdoor garden, but just as Jennifer began her walk down the aisle, a thunderstorm rolled in. Everyone quickly moved inside to finish the ceremony, and despite the sudden change in plans, it felt beautifully personal. Jennifer and Matt read their own vows to each other, making the moment even more special.

I always love photographing micro weddings — there’s something so meaningful about knowing that every guest there plays an important role in the couple’s lives.

Connie and her team at the venue were incredible, as always, handling every detail seamlessly. Their elopement and micro wedding packages make it so easy for couples to have a stress-free, picture-perfect day.

Once the rain cleared, we were able to head back outside and capture portraits across the gorgeous Battlefield property — the golden light after the storm made it absolutely worth the wait.
