When Nicole and Neal first reached out about photographing their wedding, they also asked if I would photograph their rehearsal dinner — because it happened to fall on Halloween, and they were planning an over-the-top Halloween party. From the perfectly themed food and drinks to the live band that kept the energy high all night, it was such a fun way to kick off the weekend. I knew right then that their wedding day was going to be something special.

The next day, I arrived at the Harrisburg Hilton in Harrisburg, PA to find all of Nicole’s bridesmaids already finished with hair and makeup — always a photographer’s dream. We jumped right into portraits, and the day truly couldn’t have gone more smoothly.

This venue held special meaning for Nicole, as her dad worked at the Hilton for many years — and he absolutely pulled out all the stops. The couple had a large bridal party, and everyone was so attentive, helpful, and genuinely excited to be there for Nicole and Neal.

Nicole chose floor-length sage green dresses for her bridesmaids, and the florals by Blooms by Vickery in Camp Hill, PA were the perfect complement. The groomsmen wore classic navy blue suits, which tied in beautifully with the rich fall color palette.

The reception was everything you want a wedding celebration to be — heartfelt toasts, an incredible family-style dinner, and a packed dance floor all night long. DJ Jason Klock absolutely crushed it, turning the evening into one unforgettable party.
