Heather + Jason | A Concert-Inspired Wedding at Farm 1840
Heather and Jason were married on June 6, 2026, at the beautiful Farm 1840, and their wedding was one of the most personal and fun celebrations I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
As huge concert lovers, they built their entire wedding around their shared love of music, and every detail reflected their personalities. It was such a creative theme that felt completely authentic to who they are.
Heather chose soft lavender floor-length gowns for her bridesmaids—her three daughters. One of my favorite moments of the day was watching them share a first look with their mom. It was such a sweet, emotional moment. Heather and Jason also chose to do a first look before the ceremony, and the smiles on their faces said it all. You could feel just how excited they were to finally see each other.
Jason wore a navy suit with a lavender tie that tied everything together perfectly. During the ceremony, they included a family puzzle ceremony to symbolize each person coming together to create a new family. Having a close friend officiate made the ceremony feel even more personal and meaningful.
The reception was where their concert theme really came to life. Instead of a traditional guest book, guests signed vinyl records. The wedding cake was designed to look like a DJ mixing table, and each table was named with a vinyl record instead of a number. One of the sweetest touches of the entire day was that Heather and Jason wrote a handwritten note to every single guest. It was such a thoughtful gift and something I’m sure everyone will remember.
Before the reception began, the couple snuck away during cocktail hour for a private dinner in the farmhouse. I always love when couples make time for a quiet moment together before the celebration begins—it gives them a chance to slow down and soak it all in.
Heather then changed into a fun short reception dress while her hairstylist gave her a quick new look before it was time to hit the dance floor.
They had clearly spent a lot of time practicing their choreographed first dance, and it was so much fun to watch. From there, the dance floor stayed packed all night thanks to DJ Puff with Mixed Up Productions, who kept the energy going from start to finish.
The heartfelt toasts from Jason’s father and Heather’s oldest daughter brought plenty of laughter, happy tears, and smiles. It was the perfect reminder that this day wasn’t just about two people getting married—it was about two families becoming one.
Heather and Jason, thank you for allowing me to be part of such an incredible day. Your wedding was a beautiful reflection of who you are, and I loved every minute of it. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, great music, and plenty of adventures together.
Thanks to all the fabulous vendors who helped make this wedding so amazing!
