Kaydee + Chance | A Joy-Filled Summer Wedding at Farm 1840

Kaydee and Chance were married on June 20, 2026, at the beautiful Farm 1840, and it was such a joyful day from beginning to end.

Kaydee chose soft light blue floor-length gowns for her bridesmaids, while Chance and his groomsmen wore classic navy suits. The color palette was perfect for an early summer wedding and looked beautiful throughout the day.

One of my favorite getting-ready moments was Kaydee’s first look with her matron of honor. The excitement on her face was priceless! If your maid of honor isn’t this excited to see you… you might need new friends. 😉 Okay, I’m kidding—but seriously, it was one of the sweetest reactions and such a fun moment to capture.

Before the ceremony, Kaydee and Chance shared a private first look followed by personal vows. These quiet moments together are always some of my favorites because they give couples a chance to slow down and soak everything in before the day begins.

The beautiful florals by Backyard Blooms, designed by Taylor Messner, perfectly complemented the day with soft, romantic touches.

One thing that really stood out was their planting ceremony during the wedding. After years of photographing weddings, it was actually the first time I’ve seen one! Together, they added soil to a potted sapling, symbolizing two lives becoming one and creating a strong foundation for the future. It was such a meaningful and memorable addition to their ceremony.

Adding to the beautiful atmosphere, violinist Yalira M. Walker performed during the ceremony. She was absolutely incredible and created such an elegant, emotional backdrop as Kaydee and Chance exchanged their vows. After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, they rang the wedding bell—a fun tradition and the perfect way to celebrate the moment.

The reception began with an impressive choreographed first dance that had everyone smiling. From there, the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, a delicious dinner, and lots of dancing. DJ Thunderkiss kept the dance floor packed all night, making sure the celebration never slowed down.

Kaydee and Chance, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was such an honor to be part of this exciting new chapter in your lives. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and many beautiful memories together! Thanks to all the fabulous vendors who helped make this wedding so amazing!
