Things to Do Before Your Engagement Session

If you’re a 2022 bride-to-be that just said “yes” to forever, here are a few things that you should do before your engagement photo session!

The rule of thumb is to send your save-the-date cards six to eight months prior to your wedding so that your guests can plan accordingly.
As your engagement session gets closer, choose your outfits to coordinate, not match. Also, it’s best to choose solids and stay away from busy, distracting patterns. Feel free to choose 2 outfits to mix it up or include a more dressy and a casual option.
Next, book an appointment to get your ring cleaned! There’s no better feeling than a freshly cleaned, sparkly ring and you want it to look its best in your engagement photos. You are generally advised to clean your engagement ring every two weeks, but use your session as an excuse to book a professional clean at your nearby jeweler!
The last step before your session is to treat yourself to a fresh manicure! The perfect engagement manicure is a pretty nude or light pink so that your engagement ring can pop even more!
