Weddings
{Raina & Martin}
Raina and Martin had to reschedule their original wedding that was scheduled for Spring of 2020, two years later they finally had their big day! They planned the most beautiful wedding at Historic Shady Lane in Manchester, PA.
Right before we were planning to do their first look, the skies opened up and it began to rain. We improvised and did their first look on the porch of the cottage. We were lucky to get a few minutes break in the rain to be able to take some pictures on the small bridge on the property.
After all the years of wedding photography, I haven’t been to a wedding that incorporated a Quaker Self Uniting ceremony. It was unique, and fit the couple so well. It was nice to hear guests stand and say kind words, read poems and give well wishes.
The couple used Susan Moran, from That’s It Wedding Planning and it was perfectly decorated, and every detail was thought about.
The bridal bouquet and headpiece was created by a friend of the bride, Nicole who was from Philadelphia. It was stunning.
I loved the use of coordinating but unique linens in the reception area, the vintage glasses were stunning.
Raina & Martin, Thank you for choosing me to document your day that you waited a really long time for!
Thanks to all the fabulous vendors who helped make this wedding so amazing!
