{Mary Kate & Chris}
For many the pandemic is a blip of time that they can’t wait to forget. For Mary Kate and Chris, it’s part of their love story. Mary Kate moved from New York City back to her hometown, York PA. Chris was finishing up his residency at York hospital. Without the pandemic, they likely would never have met.
Mary Kate and Chris planned their fabulous winter wedding in 6 months. Their catholic faith was very important, so they had a beautiful service at St. Patrick Church in York PA. A close friend of the bride even helped officiate their ceremony. The bride included her nieces, nephew and god daughter as the flower girls and the ring bearer. You could really tell how much family meant to her. They opted for a small bridal party of just the brides sister and grooms brother.
When Mary Kate explained her vision for her day, she wanted a warm, fun filled upscale dinner party. She accomplished that goal. With the church decorated for the holidays, it was full of wreaths and dozens of beautiful poinsettias.
Mary Kate chose a gorgeous BHLDN dress which was the perfect fit and style for her and opted for a sweater and velvet belt for the ceremony.
If you haven’t been to the Stone Mill Inn in Hellam PA, you are missing out. It’s a gorgeous venue where the owners take such pride in the grounds. It was the perfect location to pull off the warm and fun dinner party they wanted. The couple really did get lucky with the weather, it was warm enough for outdoor portraits even without a jacket.
They had fabulous toasts given, some fun dancing and lots of delicious desserts.
