{Dever & Rich}
Dever and Rich met by chance on a dating app while the world was shut down during Covid. Rich is from Pittsburgh but had been staying at his families cabin at Raystown Lake and expanded his radius on the dating site to include State College. Dever was finishing her PHD at Penn State at the time. I hadn’t met the couple prior to their wedding day but when I arrived I found out they chose Raystown lake because its where they had their first dates during a socially distanced hike in the woods and they enjoy being outdoors together.
Dever is one of five children, one of my favorite things to witness was seeing her sisters genuine happiness and love for her. They were beaming with pride at how beautiful their sister looked and you could just tell they were there to celebrate her!
The bracelet Dever wore was a family heirloom that had been worn by many others on their wedding days.
Dever and Rich were so cute at their first look, they were so excited to see each other they totally forgot I was there. Just so happy catch up and talk about how great they both looked and how excited they were.
They chose a DJ that specialized in square dances which made for a fun experience for their guests.
Dever & Rich… Wishing you a lifetime of outdoor adventures and love.
Thanks to all the fabulous vendors who helped make this wedding so amazing!
