Summer 2020 Fashion Tips

Neutral Necessities

Neutrals are always in style but now more than ever! They give such a sophisticated touch to your look and are completely versatile. You can wear one tan top several different ways by pairing it with different jeans, pants, or skirts, and accessories to dress it up or down. Right now I have my eye on high-neck bodysuits, oversized knit pullovers, neutral sundresses

For the best neutrals, I go to Zara or H&M.

Make it Girly

While it’s nice to have basics stocked in your closet, why not make fashion fun and throw in some wild cards? Florals, frills, and ruffles have been all the rage this summer. Anything with ruching, puffy sleeves, or bright colors has caught my eye and has looked so fabulous on a warm, sunny day!

Head over to Pink Lily Boutique, ASOS, or Lulu’s!

Lounge Around

Summer 2020 has been… well, cozy. Whether you’re living the work-from-home life or just spending more time at home than usual, I bet you’ve invested in some new loungewear. All things comfy have ended up in my cart lately and I’m not mad about it! I love that I can throw on a jumpsuit, t-shirt dress, or matching lounge set and feel fashionable but still comfortable enough to take a nap in it. I know you’ve all had the Zoom call look… Business on the top and pajamas on the bottom!

Target has the BEST loungewear and it’s super affordable.

Prints Galore

Last, but certainly not least, prints have continued to fill storefronts and bring out all the animal print and tie dye vibes. If you thought tie dye was over in 2012, then guess again! I think it’s such a fun look for summer because of the bright colors. It’s also an entertaining craft if you have some time on your hands and white clothes that need some color.

Pink Lily Boutique has an awesome tie dye collection. Or you can buy a kit and make your own!
