Why Thanksgiving is the Best Holiday
Thanksgiving is the best. There is nothing better than a day full of family, friends, and home-cooked food. Also, it is the perfect start to the holiday season! There are plenty of reasons to love Thanksgiving, so keep reading for some of my favorites!
- Any holiday during fall is bound to be my favorite! Fall days are the best because of the leaves changing and cozy weather. Not to mention, getting to show off some adorable fall fashion in your “Happy Thanksgiving” selfie on Instagram! 😉
- Every family has their own tradition on Thanksgiving. Whether it’s breaking the wishbone, having a pie making contest, or watching the Macy’s Day Parade, I bet your family does something special every year that you look forward to.
- Um, hello? The food! Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, pie, etc. Thanksgiving dinner is amazing but let’s be real, the leftovers are just as good.
- No presents needed! Thank goodness there’s a holiday where you do not have to stress about spending money and buying someone the perfect gift. Before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Thanksgiving is the perfect time to relax and spend a humble day with family.
- But, of course Black Friday happens the next day! After you spend a whole day feeling grateful and happy, there’s a day to seek out the best deals and get a jump start on shopping for the holidays. Some may think Black Friday is a little hypocritical with Thanksgiving being the day before, but hey, I love shopping and I’m not going to complain about a good deal. 😊
