Winter Boot Style Guide

Have you ever fallen in love with a pair of boots? So have I. Maybe more times than I would like to admit. Winter boots never disappoint and keep me stylish all season long. Not only am I a shoe-aholic, but I am most importantly a boot-aholic and adore all of the trends going on right now. Don’t get cold feet, get these adorable boots for those chilly, winter months!

  • Ankle Boot // Black, brown, gray, I don’t care! You have to have a pair (or five) of these because winter looks complete without them. I also love all of the different materials they come in. Suede can add a soft element to your outfit, while leather can add an edgy flair. Ankle boots look best paired with skinny ankle jeans cuffed at the end – or raw hem. You can find these jean styles to wear with them in my denim blog post.

  • Winter Weather Boots // Walk the dog in style with some weather permitting boots. The warmest and easiest boots to clean are Hunter’s rain boots with their warm boot socks. Also, I have been seeing their Chelsea Booties everywhere!

  • Boots with the Fur // If you are going to be out in the cold, might as well make a fashion statement at the same time. So many brands have been releasing lace-up winter boots with fur accents and I love them paired with a big parka and winter accessories.

  • Over the Knee // Over the knee boots can be tastefully worn in so many different ways. My favorite over the knee styles have been worn with a skirt or dress. You can even pull them up over skinny jeans or leggings! Over the knee boots are great because you can use them to transition your dresses and skirts into winter looks. Heeled or not heeled, they are a must!
